Azure Standard Haul January 2025

It has been a snowy, chilly January this year. Or frigid, would maybe describe it better. Today feels almost warm at 48 degrees, but just when we’re getting really comfortable, it looks like another artic blast will be here. With highs in the teens and 0 degrees or below at night. But for all that here is my January Azure Standard Haul.

I never thought you would catch me being a crunchy mama. But oh my! Am I ever guilty! Especially, after listening to this video the other day. It definitely strengthened my resolve for staying out of the grocery store, if at all possible.

Azure Standard helps me a lot with that goal! If you don’t know who or what they are, check out their website. They have a lot to offer.

#1 Laundry Soap

I don’t know whether to be proud of myself or embarrassed. But I used up my last cup of laundry soap this morning, after picking up my order last night! Whew! That was close! But I had a pretty large order last month, so I chose to wait till this month to order it.

And yes, I order a 40 or 50 lb box of Azure Standard brand laundry Detergent. This will usually last me about 9 months. Bulk prices will save you a bunch in the long run.

#2 Butter

Five pounds of good old fashioned butter. Because why not! Azure Standard has several brands, some that are more affordable than others. I get Rumiano Organic salted butter. And yes, it is expensive, but I try to use it sparingly. Not for baked goods, but mostly for bread, and pancakes! Gotta have real butter on a good stack of pancakes!

#3 Chocolate Chips

Only a pound. I do love my chocolate. I think I could do with out baked goods as long as I have a hunk of chocolate to gnaw on. Or a handful of chips. That might work as well.

Does chocolate help you lose weight? I hope so. Haha!

#4 Evaporated Cane Sugar

Twenty-five pounds of evaporated cane sugar to be exact. I use a bit of it in baking, but quite a bit to make our weekly batch of kombucha. I like to buy it in bulk, because it is a better price that way.

#5 5 gallon buckets

Because I needed a few more to store my bulk items in.

#6 Toothpaste

Two different kinds. I do like the convenience of buying almost everything from the same place!

#7 All purpose flour

I was running a bit low on flour, so I ordered another 25 lb. bag. Now I’m regretting it, because I need to go back to eating gluten free due to a low thyroid/hashimotos. Gah! I have done gluten free before, but kinda haphazardly. But I’m done! Done with gluten, that is! At least for a while. Maybe in a year or so I’ll attempt sourdough, again. I love sourdough, and even feel okay on sourdough, but the baking part of it has been flaring up inflammation like crazy, so no more. For now!

I do really like the Azure Standard all purpose flour, and would definitely continue buying it if I wouldn’t be eating gluten-free.

And that’s it!

For this month. My laundry soap is restocked. As well, as cane sugar. The butter may last me two months. Maybe. The chocolate chips, two weeks? We may have to pick up some cheaper ones elsewhere this month. Ha! But I like to alternate on what I buy in large quantities to stay within our budget for the month.

Speaking of budgeting! I am very excited to be getting more involved in our finances and budgeting this year! But more on that later!

I have included links to the exact products that I order/ordered. I do not make a commission on any of these products. It is merely there so you can check it out if you are looking for one of these products. I love their products and will be posting future Azure Hauls, LW!

God Bless you as you seek to make healthier choices!
